Asana’s Annual Work Innovation Summit is always an event to behold. But this year came with several big releases and changes. Asana has always been a collaborative work management tool, and whilst the principles still apply, their new focus is Agentic Work Management. 





But What is Agentic Work Management?

With Asana’s most recent releases being AI-focused, such as AI Studio and AI Teammates, it isn’t a surprise that their next phase is based on AI. Agentic Work Management brings together AI agents, humans and other AI releases (that will be detailed in this summary) to run your critical workflows from start to finish. 



But why Agentic Work Management?

COS showcased how they have been using AI to help their designers focus on design rather than other work that can be easily completed by an AI Agent. This shows that a team of 10 could have the potential to have the power of 100 by adding specific AI Agents to manage work on your behalf. Asana announced 30 pre-built AI teammates focused on key use cases such as marketing, operations and IT. These include campaign brief writer, launch planner, decision tracker, IT support, market researcher and many more.
